A 3D illustration Work Flow Chart |
This is different for each project I do. I've found a combination of software that works well together for the 3D cross-sections that I'm often asked to do. But it's constantly evolving as new software is developed, and I may be trying some new things soon.
This flowchart is actually simplified from the reality of it, but it's still not really as complicated as it looks. The main point is that you have different files from different programs working together to make an entire scene. It takes some extra work to keep things organized, but there's also a huge amount of flexibility. |
