Dissection of a Digital Illustration

Some Challenges

This image ended up being 7" x 5", and they had a ton of information to cram into it. Every square inch contains some element that was specifically requested by the client.
Also, there are multiple scales to include, from the microscopic parasites, to the tiny tadpoles, to the small frog, mid-sized bird, large pond, orchard, and cornfields. It was tricky to find a point of view that would encompass all this.
